สมาคมสตรีผู้สื่อข่าวภาพยนตร์ (อังกฤษ: Alliance of Women Film Journalists, คำย่อ AWFJ) เป็นองค์การไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 2006 จากฐานในนิวยอร์กซิตี้ สหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งอุทิศตนเพื่อสนับสนุนการทำงานโดยสตรีและเกี่ยวกับสตรีในอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์ .[1] AWFJ ประกอบด้วยนักวิจารณ์ภาพยนตร์หญิง ผู้สื่อข่าวหญิง และนักเขียนหญิงทางด้านสารคดีภาพยนตร์ ที่ทำงานในสายสิ่งพิมพ์ สายวิทยุและโทรทัศน์ และสื่อออนไลน์ จำนวน 76 คน สถาบันภาพยนตร์อังกฤษอธิบายถึง AWFJ ว่าเป็นองค์การที่เก็บรวบรวมบทความ (ฐานที่สหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นหลัก) โดยสมาชิก และให้รางวัลประจำปี และ "สนับสนุนภาพยนตร์โดยสตรีและเกี่ยวกับสตรี".[2]

รางวัล EDA

เริ่มตังแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2007 AWFJ ได้มอบรางวัลภาพยนตร์ที่ดีที่สุด (และที่แย่ที่สุด) ในภาพยนตร์โดยวิธีการโหวตจากสมาชิก รางวัลเรียกว่า EDA เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่มารดาของผู้ก่อตั้ง AWFJ คือ Jennifer Merin ซึ่งก็คือ นักแสดง Eda Reiss Merin (31 กรกฎาคม ค.ศ. 1913 - 31 มีนาคม ค.ศ. 1998) และ EDA ยังเป็นคำย่อมาจาก "Excellent Dynamic Activism" ด้วย [3]  รางวัลนี้ได้รับการเสนอข่าวในช่วงไม่กี่ปีที่ผ่านมาโดยมีแหล่งข่าวของสื่อกระแสหลักหลายแห่ง ได้แก่   TIME, USA Today, and Variety, และยังมีรายชื่อในรีวิวรางวัลภาพยนตร์ของ The New York Times ด้วย [4][5][6][7] ในปี 2007 AWFJ ได้เผยแพร่รายชื่อภาพยนตร์ Top 100 Films List เพื่อการตอบโต้กับ 100 ปี 100 รายชื่อภาพยนตร์ที่จัดทำโดยสถาบันภาพยนตร์อเมริกัน (AFI) [8] AWFJ ได้สร้างรายชื่อนั้นเพื่อดูว่าสมาชิกจะมีรายชื่อที่แตกต่างอย่างมีสาระสำคัญจาก AFI หรือไม่
