กรดแกมมาไฮดรอกซีบิวทีริก (อังกฤษ: Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid หรือ อังกฤษ: γ-Hydroxybutyric acid) หรือชื่อย่อ GHB กรด 4-ไฮดรอกซีบิวทีริก (อังกฤษ: 4-hydroxybutanoic acid) เป็นสารที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาติที่พบในระบบประสาทส่วนกลางของมนุษย์ เช่นเดียวกับไวน์ ,เนื้อ ,ผลไม้ส้มขนาดเล็ก และอยู่ในเกือบทุกสัตว์ในปริมาณน้อย[1] มันแบ่งประเภทเป็นยาที่มีการควบคุมในหลายประเทศ มันได้รับการควบคุมในประเทศออสเตรเลียและนิวซีแลนด์, แคนาดา ,พื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่ของทวีปยุโรป และในสหรัฐอเมริกาในปัจจุบัน[2] เป็นเกลือโซเดียมที่รู้จักกันคือ sodium oxybate หรือชื่อทางการค้า Xyrem[3] ใช้ในการรักษาภาวะปวกเปียก[4] และง่วงนอนตอนกลางวันมากเกินไปในภาวะง่วงเกิน
