โกตากีนาบาลู[4] (มลายู: Kota Kinabalu, کوتا کينا بالو; จีน: 亚庇; พินอิน: Yàbì) มีชื่อเดิมว่า เจสเซลตัน[5] (อังกฤษ: Jesselton) และเป็นที่รู้จักในชื่อย่อว่า เคเค[6][7] (มลายู: KK) เป็นเมืองหลวงของรัฐซาบะฮ์ ประเทศมาเลเซีย เป็นเมืองที่ตั้งอยู่ชายฝั่งทะเลจีนใต้ทางตะวันตกของรัฐซาบะฮ์ และตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของเกาะบอร์เนียว มีประชากรราว 452,058 คน[8]

ปัจจุบันโกตากีนาบาลูเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญ และเปรียบเสมือนประตูสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวที่เข้ามาเยือนซาบะฮ์และบอร์เนียว[9] นอกจากนี้โกตากีนาบาลูยังเป็นเมืองสำคัญทางอุตสาหกรรมและพาณิชย์ของมาเลเซียตะวันออก ทำให้ที่นี่เป็นหนึ่งในเมืองที่โตเร็วที่สุดของมาเลเซีย[10][11]
