ภาษาถิ่นพรอว็องส์ (ฝรั่งเศส: provençal; พรอว็องส์: provençau หรือ prouvençau) คือวิธภาษาหนึ่งของภาษาอุตซิตาที่พูดโดยชนกลุ่มน้อยในภาคใต้ของประเทศฝรั่งเศส ส่วนใหญ่อาศัยอยู่ในภูมิภาคพรอว็องส์ ในอดีต พรอว็องส์ เป็นชื่อที่ใช้เรียกภาษาอุตซิตาทั้งมวล แต่ในปัจจุบันถือว่าเป็นการเหมาะสมกว่าที่จะนำชื่อนี้มาใช้เรียกเฉพาะวิธภาษาของภาษาอุตซิตาที่พูดในพรอว็องส์[4][5]
พรอว็องส์ ยังเป็นชื่อตามธรรมเนียมเดิมที่ใช้เรียกภาษาอุตซิตารูปแบบเก่าที่ใช้โดยบรรดานักขับลำตรูบาดูในสมัยกลางในขณะที่ภาษาฝรั่งเศสเก่าหรือ ล็องก์ดอยล์ ยังมีขอบเขตการใช้จำกัดอยู่ทางตอนเหนือของฝรั่งเศส ดังนั้นรหัสไอเอสโอ 639-3 สำหรับภาษาอุตซิตาเก่าจึงเป็น [pro]
ใน พ.ศ. 2550 รหัสไอเอสโอ 639-3 สำหรับภาษาอุตซิตาถิ่นทั้งหมด (รวมถึง [prv] สำหรับภาษาถิ่นพรอว็องส์) ได้ถูกยกเลิกและรวมเข้ากับ [oci] ภาษาอุตซิตา รหัสเก่า ([prv], [auv], [gsc], [lms], [lnc]) ไม่มีการใช้งานอีกต่อไป แต่ยังคงความหมายตามที่เคยได้รับการกำหนดไว้ในมาตรฐานไอเอสโอ[6]
