คะแนนแฟร์เพลย์จะได้รับการนำมาพิจารณาก็ต่อเมื่อสถิติเฮดทูเฮดและสถิติโดยรวมของแต่ละทีมเท่ากัน โดยคำนวณจากจำนวนใบเหลืองและใบแดงที่ได้รับในการแข่งขันรอบแบ่งกลุ่มดังนี้

  • ใบเหลืองแรก = ลบ 1 คะแนน
  • ใบแดงทางอ้อม (ใบเหลืองใบที่สอง) = ลบ 3 คะแนน
  • ใบแดงโดยตรง = ลบ 3 คะแนน
  • ใบเหลืองและใบแดงโดยตรง = ลบ 4 คะแนน

การหักคะแนนอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งจากสี่อย่างข้างต้นจะถูกนำไปใช้กับผู้เล่นคนหนึ่ง ๆ ในการแข่งขันนัดเดียว
