สโมสรฟุตบอลซอลฟอร์ดซิตี (อังกฤษ: Salford City Football Club) คือสโมสรฟุตบอลระดับอาชีพในประเทศอังกฤษ ตั้งอยู่ในเขตเคอร์ซาล เมืองซอลฟอร์ด เทศมณฑลเกรตเตอร์แมนเชสเตอร์ ปัจจุบันลงแข่งขันในระดับอีเอฟแอลลีกทู
สโมสรก่อตั้งเมื่อ ค.ศ. 1940 ในชื่อ ซอลฟอร์ดเซ็นทรัล ใน ค.ศ. 2014 สโมสรถูกเทคโอเวอร์โดยกลุ่มคลาสออฟ 92ซึ่งเป็นอดีตผู้เล่นของแมนเชสเตอร์ยูไนเต็ด ได้แก่ ไรอัน กิ๊กส์, พอล สโคลส์, แกรี เนวิล, ฟิล เนวิลล์ และนิกกี บัตต์ถือคนละ 10% ของสโมสร กับนักธุรกิจชาวสิงคโปร์ ปีเตอร์ ลิมถือ 50% ของสโมสร จากรายงานของบีบีซีระบุว่า เดวิด เบ็คแคมซื้อ 10% จาก ปีเตอร์ ลิม เมื่อวันที่ 23 มกราคม ค.ศ. 2019

ประวัติศาสตร์สโมสร[แก้]
2014 ถึง 2017:ครอบครองโดย คลาส ออฟ 92[แก้]
เมื่อวันที่ 27 มีนาคม 2014 มีการประกาศว่า ภายใต้การอนุมัติของเอฟเอและนอร์ทเทิร์น พรีเมียร์ลีก ซอลฟอร์ดจะถูกครอบครองโดย Project 92 Limited ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มที่ประกอบด้วยอดีตผู้เล่นแมนเชสเตอร์ยูไนเต็ดคือ นิคกี บัตต์, ไรอัน กิกส์, แกรี เนวิล ฟิล เนวิล และพอล สโกลส์ หรือที่เรียกรวมกันว่า คลาส ออฟ '92 คาดว่าจะแล้วเสร็จในช่วงซัมเมอร์[3][4] คาเรน แบร์ด ประธานสโมสรอธิบายว่ามัน "มั่นคง" โดยบอกว่ามันจะรับประกันอนาคตของสโมสร[5] ในการแข่งขันนัดต่อมาที่ซัลฟอร์ดชนะ 3–2 เหนือ ฟาร์สลีย์เซลติก และแพ้ในบ้าน 1–3 ต่อ นิวมิลส์ แฟนๆ ตะโกนว่า "We are Tangerine" เพื่อประท้วงเมื่อมีข่าวลือว่าจะมีการเปลี่ยนสีของสโมสร[6][7] ความไม่สงบของแฟนบอลยังคงเพิ่มขึ้นจนถึงนัดสุดท้ายของฤดูกาล ซึ่งพวกเขาแพ้ 1–3 ต่อเพรสคอตต์เคเบิล หมายความว่าซอลฟอร์ดจบฤดูกาลในอันดับที่ 12[8]
