Avenue 52
[แก้]Avenue 52 is a pop/rock band that: writes, produces, sings, records, engineers, mixes ALL the music you hear, period.
Avenue 52 is an American pop/rock band based out of Los Angeles, California formed in 2009 by young and talented musicians with a positive message to give to their fans. The conception of the band’s name “Avenue 52” derives from the street where the band members originally met and came together. Their music is a blend of pop melodies and rock undertones. Their self-titled debut EP is available on iTunes.
The music video for their latest single, “Homeless,” generated nearly 42,000 views on YouTube in its first week! The band plans to donate a portion of the profits to various homeless organizations across the world.
Delivering the Avenue 52 sound and message are Sean Alexander (lead guitarist, background vocals) Tyler Aguirre (rhythm guitarist, lead vocals) and Beau Evans (drums, background vocals).
Avenue 52’s single “Simple Girl” was chosen by the ABC Family’s Hit TV Show “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” as the 2010 season’s promo song which features clips of their promotional performance video.
Their first music video entitled “Homeless” was created to bring awareness to the homeless epidemic in the world today. It is a heartfelt video, which has received rave reviews. The band will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this song to various homeless organizations.
Sean is an accomplished songwriter, producer, engineer, who makes Avenue 52 songs radio ready. He is a native Californian who studied at the Musicians Institute. Sean has worked with: Hannah Montana Soundtrack, The Clique Girlz, Donnie Klang, Girlicious, Tynisha Keli, Varsity Fanclub, US5, TVXQ (#1 ALBUM OF 2008 in Korea), SS501 (#1 SINGLE in Korea for 3 weeks), SHINee (#1 Single in Korea), TaeYang (of BIG BANG), Wheesung, Nikki (Dutch Idol Winner).
Ty is from Duluth, Minnesota and has had extensive vocal training. He has incredible range, tone, and is fantastic live, a true rarity these days! Ty has a magnetic personality and tends to be the spokesperson for the band. Tyler first started singing when he was 5, rocking out to the tunes of Michael Jackson. Continuing on into High School he involved himself in Choir and dabbled with a few Acappella groups.
Beau, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, is a gifted drummer who has played for many Disney stars including Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Sterling Knight, Anna Margaret, Zoe Myers, Savvy & Mandy, & Debby Ryan. Beau has won many talent competitions including one against American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. Beau is also represented for acting/modeling and has appeared in many commercials, music videos, television & Popstar! Magazine.
