แมงอีนูน หรือ แมงกีนูน (อังกฤษ: Cockchafer) หรือ แมงนูน หรือ กุดกีนูน (อีสาน) หรือ แมงนูนหลวง เป็นแมลงปีกแข็ง ชนิดหนึ่ง มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Melolontha melolontha อยู่ในวงศ์ Scarabaeidae

มีรูปร่างอ้วนป้อมเป็นรูปไข่ หัวมันเรียบ มีหนวดแบบใบไม้ 1 คู่ที่ปาก ปากเป็นแบบปากกัด ตามีขนาดใหญ่มองเห็นได้ชัด ที่อกปล้องแรกเห็นชัดกว่าปล้องอื่น ๆ ปีกมี 2 คู่ คู่หน้ามีลักษณะแข็งเรียบเป็นมันมีหน้าที่เป็นเปลือกหุ้มตัว ส่วนปีกคู่ที่สองนั้นบางใส ใช้สำหรับบิน ส่วนท้องอยู่ด้านล่างมีปีกที่แข็งคลุม หัว อกและขามีสีน้ำตาลไปจนถึงสีดำ ปีกที่แข็งมีสีน้ำตาลอ่อน ขนาดลำตัวยาวประมาณ 30 มิลลิเมตร

แมงอีนูน จัดเป็นแมลงศัตรูพืช เพราะกัดแทะใบของพืชที่เป็นพืชเศรษฐกิจ อาทิ มะขามเทศ, มะขาม, อ้อย, มันสำปะหลัง, พุทรา แมงอีนูนมีวงจรชีวิตเป็นหนอนอยู่ใต้ดินนานนับปี ก่อนจะเข้าสู่ระยะดักแด้และเป็นตัวเต็มวัยในช่วงต้นฤดูฝนของทุกปี ซึ่งจะพบแมงอีนูนเป็นจำนวนมากในเวลานี้

แมงอีนูนจัดเป็นอาหารรับประทานในวิถีชีวิตของชาวเหนือและชาวอีสาน อีกทั้งยังเป็นการกำจัดแมลงศัตรูพืช โดยการจับแมงอีนูนจะกระทำในช่วงหัวค่ำ ใช้แสงไฟจากนีออนเป็นตัวล่อ หรือเขย่าจากต้นไม้ที่มีแมงอีนูนจำนวนอาศัยอยู่ก็จะหล่นลงมาให้จับได้ง่าย ๆ ซึ่งการปรุงแมงอีนูนทำได้ทั้งวิธีการต้มและทอด ในบางพื้นที่ เช่น จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร มีการค้าขายกันเป็นล่ำเป็นสันด้วย^[1]^[2]
