Worakamol Satur (Thai: วรกมล ชาเตอร์) also known as Jeff, was born (on 6 March 1995). His Thai name is Worakamol and his English name is Jeff. He is a talented singer, songwriter, model and actor. Now he is working under contracts of Wayfer Records which is in the control of Warner Music Thailand. In the music industry, Jeff is known as the singer , producer and songwriter of the famous song name “Why don’t you stay” which is the original soundtrack of KinnPorche the series and the song name “DUM DUM” that already got more than 32 millions views on youtube platform. In the filmography, Jeff is known as “ Kimhan '' from KinnPorches the series. Jeff is getting the recognition that he rightfully deserves and slowly becoming known globally. Additionally, for the beauty brand, Jeff is also known as Philosophy’s first-ever brand friend for Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

At first, Jeff entered the music industry and people may have recognised him as a trainee of RS Entertainment . He joined the project called “the demo project” and then started to release the song. The first song that he published under the demo project is (โลกแตก) which was released on 27 June 2013.

Early life , Education and Inspiration

Worakamol Satur was born in Bangkok, Thailand on March 6, 1955. He is of Thai, Chinese, and English descent. His mother is Pranee Saelor who is half Thai and Chinese and his father is from England. Jeff is the second child out of five children of his mother. For education , he completed his high school diploma at Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University, specializing in arts and the Japanese language, and for bachelor's degree, he graduated with a business administration degree from Rangsit University.

Jeff mentioned that he started to like music since he was nine years old. At that time he listened to a lot of music from CDs and compact cassettes. He likes to listen to all kinds of them but mostly listens to metal music and when he was in grade three, he used to play classical guitar but unfortunately an accident happened then he stopped playing the guitar. After that he realized with himself about what he wanted to study and he came up with the answer that he wanted to play the drums. He was playing it for a short time and then he started to form a music band with his friends during high school.

Jeff thinks that the reason he liked music was because it made him feel driven and made people have feelings. For example, if a person listens to rock music, it will make them feel arrogant and motivated which can increase positive feelings and music is able to make people united together. He also thinks that music is the best way to convey the feelings that humans can’t describe, he noticed this thought during his high school time when he saw other peoples smile because of the music that he performed. This became the lighting frame in his heart since then.

Talking about life with family . When Jeff is faced with the bad time of his life , Jeff has always considered his father's words. His father said that “ Everything that happens is always good , but we need to find what is the good side of it” which made Jeff realize with himself that it has happened many times in his life that he failed but after time passed , things always got better and he found the good thing in it. He thinks the best life for him is the simple life and being proud of himself without caring about people and in the end of his life , he sees himself sitting on the bench quietly in the good environment. This is the best life , he said.The relationship between Jeff and his mothers can be described as being very close to each other and Jeff mentioned that he is able to talk about everything with his mother. Since Jeff was young, Mrs.Saelor said in the interview that she always questions things about things in the movie and cartoon that Jeff watched, and then made him analyze what is happening. Jeff’s mother thinks that “The child is an adult, but it's a downsized adult” .From this perspective, it made her listen to her son while Jeff believes that emotions are what causes many people to misunderstand each other.

Jeff doesn't classify himself as merely a singer or an actor; rather he identifies as an artist who communicates his essence through the song and acting to other people. In the past , Jeff used to be scared of what people thought about him and what people labeled him in the way he didn’t like. From this perspective , it prevents him from doing a lot of things as he is scared of other people's thoughts. It stopped him from standing out for himself and made the first simple video on Youtube platform. The whole video is just him singing with the guitar in his hand in front of the mirror. After that he realized with himself that he needed to be brave and share what he truly is to other people. Because Jeff used to think that being himself is wrong due to the Thai cultural pressure and the situation that he faced. When he painted his nails and wore eyeliner , his friend teased him and the society didn't support him to be himself at that time as other people thought of him as different which is impacted him while he is performed on the stage whether he is going in the curtain way or not , did he sing correctly or should he take a walk or just stand still.In the end , he realized the thing that he needs to focus the most is himself and show his true self without worrying to the audience.

Career

Jeff Satur is a Thai singer who has been in the Thai pop industry since 2013 from a television competition named The Voice Thailand: First season. During the early stages of his career, he sang a well-known song in public places but no one was listening to him. At that moment Jeff’s parents were the only audience in that place who were standing with the flowers. Both of his parents are always supporting him even on the day that nobody was there for him.

At the beginning of his career life , he had the opportunity to work as a trainee in the Kamikaze label which is controlled by a famous record label in Thailand called RS Entertainment . After entered the project he got trained for 3 months then debuted on 7 June 2013 with The Demo project and his first digital single is the song name ‘โลกแตก (Lok-take)’has been released. However, Kamikaze ended abruptly; from this consequence it made him become the last artist who worked under this project but RS Entertainment continued to support him by moving him to the affiliated labels called The Demo label. After he moved, he used “Jeff The Demo” as his stage name and released 2 singles musics which are ‘Miss you like crazy (คิดถึงเธอแทบจะตายแล้ว)’ and ‘Afraid to say (ไม่กล้าบอกชัด)’ and feed back come back really impressive as it gained popularity across the country.

In 2015, he decided to move and work under the Garden Music label and be a part of Garden the Memory Project. Moreover, in this label he used “Jeff Garden Music'' as his stage name and released the songs name ‘ไม่อาจเปลี่ยนใจ (feat. Thurs & Ozone)’, ‘ไม่หายไป’ and ‘แค่ได้รัก (Original sound track for. บ่วงรัก สลักแค้น)’. After releasing various singles for many years , he decided to pause his music career to work for his father’s business instead . A while later, in 2019 he met his manager whose name is Pop and who is currently working as a head of the Warper project. Pop invited Jeff to join the project at his company and allowed him to act and compose the original sound track single name “Comedy” for a short movie named ‘He She It’. Comedy became the first single that he composed by himself and this song is ranked in many countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia. After seeing the result, it made Jeff reignite with his passion for music.

During 2018 to 2020 , Jeff continues to work as an actor and singer and then moved to the new label called “GRAND MUSIK” which is controlled by famous music company of Thailand name “GMM Grammy” and released many songs since then such as ‘Changed (เปลี่ยนไปแล้ว)’, ‘Ploimue (ปล่อยมือ)’ and ‘Reuang dee dee (เรื่องดีดี)’. In 2021, he decided to move to “Passengers Records label” and released 3 singles which are ‘HOLDING ON (อยู่)’, ‘LAST SUNSET (ปีใหม่ปีนี้)’ and ‘SURREAL (จริงเกิน)’. Eventually, in 2021, he signed a working contract with Wayfer Records under the supervision of Warner Music Thailand.Jeff's popularity has been increasing recently due to the fact that he is selecting music genres that resonate with his identity and the current era. His songs such as 'Fade (ลืมไปแล้วว่าลืมยังไง),' 'Why Don't You Stay (แค่เธอ)' from the soundtrack of 'KinnPorsche The Series ', 'Loop (วันนี้คือพรุ่งนี้ของเมื่อวาน)', ‘Highway’, ‘Complicated (ทำไมมันยาก)’, ‘Hide (แค่เงา)’, ‘Dumdum (ดึมดึม)’, ‘Lucid (ก่อนที่เธอจะลืมฝัน)’ and ‘Black Tie’ which will show his adaptability to different styles.

In 2022, he attracted attention for his role as Kimhan of ‘KinnPorsche The Series’ and for singing the theme song name "Why Don't You Stay (แค่เธอ)’. He joined Be On Cloud company from July 2022 to February 2023. During this period, the company and Warner Music Thailand cooperated to manage his actor work. After that, Jeff performed in the stage play ‘Closer’ for the first time in 2022. The stage play is produced by LiFE Creator and adapted from the 1997 work by British playwright Patrick Marber. Jeff participated in 7 of the performances in August and also wrote and sang songs for the stage play, which was later renamed ‘Stranger’ and officially released.

In November 2022, he joined Studio On Saturn which is his label. However, in terms of the music industry, he is still with Wayfer Records under the supervision of Warner Music Thailand.

In February 2023, the first overseas solo concert JEFF SATUR LIVE ON SATURN will be held in Indonesia and will tour Singapore, Bangkok, and other cities. In July of the same year, he went to Brazil to perform at a music festival.

In March 2023, In fashion show Fall/Winter 2023 of VERSACE. Jeff Satur and JJ-Krissanapoom joined the show in Los Angeles in the United States. This time of the year that Jeff has traveled to Los Angeles is the same time as Oscars 2023 which means that a lot of world celebrities are also there too.

In June 2023, Jeff was announced as the Friend of the Brand of Philosophy. He is the first ever who promoted the brand among three countries which are Thai, Singapore and Malaysia.

In September 2023, Jeff joined the popular variety show in China called “ Call Me by Fire Season 3” which is about the variety that lets the competitors compete the skills among each other in every way including singing,acting and dancing including inside and outside China.

Overall, Jeff is a Thai pop famous artist whose rise to fame in the Thai entertainment industry over the past two years has been undeniable recording to his work and his performance. His achievements include notable music collaboration with Warner music Thailand and his role in the popular Thai BL series “KinnPorche The series” where he played as a supporting character but got a lot of support from his fans and gained more popularity due to his acting skill. This led to an urge in his popularity that seemed unstoppable. Furthermore , Jeff also entered the fashion industry by a distinctive image , style and fashion sense that express his uniqueness without conforming to any defined standards.

Roles Description

• In KinnPorche the series, Jeff's role was to play a character named Kimhan. Kimhan is the youngest in a mafia family and is an introvert, he always keeps himself quiet and doesn't like to hang out with other people. He enjoys being mysterious and difficult to approach because he rarely stays at home or stays in the same place for a long time. His character is really interesting as a lot of the audience cannot guess what will happen to him.
• In Love Area The series, Jeff plays the role name Shawn. A charming playboy who doesn't believe in love. Jeff's performance of acting depth to Shawn's personality make him look very attractive in the series and with his incredible performance, many audiences were fascinated and fell in love with the characters.
• In the Ingredients mini-series, Jeff’s role is Marvin. Marwin is a young romantic who is playful, and charming. He is dedicated to music and his dream is to become a world-class musician. His interest in music is so strong that he didn't take care of himself until he came to live with Tops.
• In the series He She It, Jeff's role was to play a character named Mike. Mike is a character that has to keep the secret of a romantic relationship with his best friends and keep everyone out of this secret. However, their romantic relationship is kept under wraps whenever they are in public with other people.

Jeff mentioned in the interview that he was inspired to write a song by turning his curiosity into music with the passion of wanting to share his emotions and stories with other people within a 1-2 minute song. He also finds inspiration from other singers and different types of music to express his feelings in the song even better.

Jeff described music as his life , he compared that music as the thing that was embedded into his cell. Music was his white blood cell that helped to protect everything in his life. It is the detox that circulated in his body all the time .When he had a wound , he picked it up and described it as music which is like his protector and never disappeared from his life.

Fashion Industry

Jeff’s perspective about fashion is that he doesn't just enjoy the appearance of the cloth but he also studies deep down into the history of each item. He enjoys reading the details about the brand and the designers of the products to dig down about their passion which made Jeff noticed that each brand has a different beginning which is the inspiration to create their unique product.

Once in the interview that asked him about the Cartier brand , he replied that the connection between him and Cartier is the way that they maintain their tradition but also modern. The brand is always adapting new things and telling the stories that break boundaries. He is feeling the same way , as the artist's life is always changing because being an artist is like traveling all the time to find new inspiration and new ideas. Most importantly is not to leave yourself behind, he said. These will lead you to the new thing that reminds you of who you are even as time passes , it will always be you who truly knows the true version of yourself.

Talking about fashion brands, Jeff Satur has a unique style and fashion sense and it has allowed him to work with many famous brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Cartier, Franck Muller, BOSS, FRED, and so on. Moreover, he was also invited to many fashion shows which are VERSACE (collection Fall/Winter 2023, LA USA) and he attended ‘Valentino The Narratives Menswear Spring/ Summer 2024’ as a Friend of the House of Maison Valentino.

Additionally, he also collaborated with Valentino in his recent single called “Black Tie''. This song is Jeff Satur's first original English track inspired by the Valentino Black Tie Collection. Valentino supported him by sending 4 sets of clothes to take a music video of this song. 2 of them are from the Valentino Black Tie Collection and the rest of them were specially designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli just for Jeff Satur.

Moreover, he also being a Friend of the brand Philosophy which is the first person who promote cover 3 countries ( Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia )
