เขาญิลดียะฮ์
เขาญิลดียะฮ์ (อาหรับ: جبل جلدية) เป็นภูเขาในประเทศซาอุดีอาระเบีย มีความสูง 1,107 เมตร ภูเขาและเนินรอบ ๆ มีคุณค่าทางโบราณคดีโดยมีศิลปะสกัดหินที่สืบได้ถึงยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ นอกจากนี้ยังได้รับการกล่าวถึงในกวีนิพนธ์อาหรับด้วย[1]
มีการรายงานถึงภูเขาลูกนี้ในงานเขียนภาษาอาหรับ เช่น กวีสมัยอุมัยยะฮ์[2] และในงานเขียนบางส่วนจากนักประวัติศาสตร์และนักภูมิศาสตร์อิสลามสมัยกลาง เช่น อะบู อะลี อะฮ์,[3] อัลบักรี[4] และอะซัมฮูดี[5]
เขาญิลดียะฮ์เป็นจุดหมายตาสำคัญสำหรับผู้แสวงบุญเพราะสามารถมองเห็นได้จากระยะไกล และในสมัยอัรเราะชีด ภูเขานี้เป็นจุดสำคัญในการรวมพลก่อนจะไปโจมตีที่อื่น[6]
นักบูรพคดีศึกษาในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 17–19 อย่างเดาตี (Doughty),[7] ฮิวเบอร์ (Huber),[8] แอนน์ บลันต์ (Anne Blunt)[9] และโมเซลล์ (Moselle) กล่าวถึงภูเขาลูกนี้ในบันทึกของพวกเขา และ Julius Ouitinj วาดภาพภูเขาลูกนี้[10]
