สัญลักษณ์ทางธัชวิทยา (อังกฤษ: Vexillological symbol) เป็นสัญลักษณ์ข้อมูลธงที่ถูกใช้งานโดยนักธัชวิทยาในการระบุลักษณะเฉพาะของธง เช่น สถานที่ใช้งาน ผู้ใช้งาน และลักษณะของธง สัญลักษณ์นี้ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยนักธัชวิทยาชื่อว่า วิทนีย์ สมิธ (Whitney Smith) และได้รับการรับรองโดยสหพันธ์ธัชวิทยานานาชาติ (International Federation of Vexillological Associations: FIAV) ในช่วงต้นคริสต์ทศวรรษ 1970[1] ซึ่งเซลโก้ ไฮเมอร์ (Željko Heimer) นักธัชวิทยา ได้เพิ่มสัญลักษณ์สำหรับ Small vexillological symbol or pictogram in black and white showing the different uses of the flag ธงรุ่นปกติ และ Small vexillological symbol or pictogram in black and white showing the different uses of the flag ธงที่ใช้ในอดีต ในช่วงต้นคริสต์ทศวรรษ 1990[2]

การออกแบบในลักษณะเดียวอาจจะไม่รองรับรูปแบบไม่มีการใช้งานหรือการใช้งานที่หลากหลาย ไฮเมอร์ได้เสนอให้มีแถวเพิ่มสำหรับธงทางอากาศ แต่ FIAV ยังไม่ได้ให้การรับรอง[2]
