Psammophis leithii เป็นชนิดของงูเขี้ยวด้านหลังในวงศ์ Psammophiidae โดยเป็นสัตว์พื้นเมืองในเอเชียใต้[1][2][3] และไม่เป็นอันตรายต่อมนุษย์[3]
ศัพทมูลวิทยา
[แก้]ชื่อเฉพาะ leithii ตั้งขึ้นเพื่ออุทิศแด่แอนดรูว์ เอช. เลธ (Andrew H. Leith) แพทย์จากคณะกรรมการสุขาภิบาลมุมไบ (Bombay Sanitary Commission)[2][4]
