People are spending a large amount of time on social media, especially in Thailand. The average person spends 28 percent of his or her time online on social networks — or 1.72 hours per day.[1] Before buying something online, consumers tend to read several reviews to make sure the brand and product are trustworthy. But in reality, what type of messages and which sources are most credible to individuals? According to research, the answer is overwhelmingly clear:

32% of Thais say they’re ready to purchase directly through social media, proving that social commerce is indeed the next big thing in e-commerce.[2] Other social media channels that are also embracing social commerce include Facebook and Instagram.
