The USONET Volunteers Program at Takuapa[แก้]

The USONET volunteer program is a cooperation between ITU [1] and NBTC in Thailand.It is a project that chooses people in all provinces and only 43 volunteers in Thailand by the ITU NBTC committee .Each volunteer may choose their top 3 provinces to work in.

The main target of this project is to find volunteers from Thailand and dispatch them to various provinces in Thailand in order to develop the IT knowledge of villagers, student, and people in provinces around Thailand,includind Takuapa of Phang-nga [2], too.

The activities which Takuapa volunteers must do in Phang-nga involve training villagers in Phang-nga to use Intel programs.For example, volunteers teach about Microsoft office and basic photography.By the main target of activities is the villagers will receive knowledge from volunteers and the villagers can adapt the things which they learn from the Intel training course in order to use in teach others and students who were trained from volunteers will get the knowledge which can increase in their education in the future .For instance ,the student who are trained in using Microsoft office and in the composition of basic presentations by Powerpoint can remember and use these things in their future ,too.

In takuapa, the villagers are very kind and cute.In the time ,after having completed training class ,the villagers take volunteers to the very beautiful places and eat original delicious foods.For example, the monument of the 2004 Tsunami, the waterfall of Kaolak and Takuapa ,the beautiful sea of Kaolak by call that "Khaolak sea" ,the house where was destroyed from the 2004 Tsunami ,the iron bridge which connect with the main line road and village ,the beautyful Ubosot ,the school of Taoming ,the wall of camp in past ,original fermented rice flour noodles ,original Timsum.

The things which are the best experience in being a volunteer at Takuapa are the relationship between volunteers and villagers and happiness when taught villagers ,it's best experience can't find .

the National Telecommunication Commission (NBTC) or the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC) is to provide a basic Telecommunications Universal Service obligation (Univwesal Service Obligation or USO) ,especialy in rural areas. The area also lacked the provision of telecommunication services ,including internet service ,including places of worship ,school ,nursing homes and agencies that provide assistance to the society.

to strengthen the potential of USONET office .The NBTC has partnered with the national Telecommunications Union (International Telecommunication Union : ITU) in establishing a network of volunteer under the name NBTC-ITU Volunteers by aim for.

Promote volunteer of individual, at all levels.

Enhance personel and developing countries by taking advantage of ICT.

To strengthen skills in using computer programs and techniques. For the sake of learning. And its use within the center USONET.

To promote the project of the NBTC. The project centers USONET and promoting the widespread use USONET center.
