Lindsaysiriko Synopsis Lindsay Siriko was born on September 23, 1944 in Thailand, Papanang City River, The son of business man, mother, realtor. And my god father was a city district attorney, brother was a Deputy Attorney General in Bangkok., moved Houston from Los Angelis 1970 to pursue a degree in police administration at South Texas Junior College, now the University of Houston Downtown Early Life in Houston, Texas Lindsay Siriko--My foster parents were the late HPD Sgt. Edward L. Horelica of Houston Police Department Homicide Division, and Annette Horelica, the law enforcement family Siriko attended South Texas Junior College, now, Downtown College, University of Houston, received his Associate Degree in Police Administration, 1972. He earned his B.S. in Law Enforcement, and M.A. in Criminal Justice, 1976 at Sam Houston State University. Attended his Ph.D. at Texas A&M University in Sociology, Crime & Community, 1977, and continued his Ed.D. at Texas Southern University. 1978-1985 Completed his Ph.D. Criminal Justice (Legal Distance Learning Education), 1988-1992 at Pacific Western University, dba California Miranda University in San Diego, Education Services, CA.92128 My wife Violeta has a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of East, daughter Toni A. Siriko received a B.S. and M.A. at University of Houston, and her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma in Norma, son-in-law Tommy Hoang has a B.S. from the University of Houston, and two grandchildren- Thomas, and Violet attended St. Maximilan Kolbe Catholic Community Church Career Experience in Law Enforcement With approximately 37 years police experienced in Texas, U.S 1979--My first police job was with the Houston Park Police, as a patrol officer, responsible for patrolling the City park in the prevention of crimes and enforcement of law & city ordinance, and maintain park security 1980-accepted a new position as a Deputy Constable, Harris County Constable Precinct 5, Criminal 8& Civil Process Division for 4 years and 11 months as a Field Operation Corporal Supervisor and watch commander to the Sergeant's absence--roll call, job assignment and provided guidance & training of serving criminal and civil warrants from County Courts 1985-Siriko returned serve as a Deputy Marshal, Houston Marshal Special Task Force Division, City of Houston Municipal Administration Department--Responsible for the warrants of arrest by the courts, booked prisoner who has outstanding city warrant, inside and outside fugitive warrants, enforcement city, state, and federal law, 1985-2002. 2003- Served a Senior Police Officer, Special Operations Division Houston Police Department Responsible traffic control, crowd control, terrorist attack, bomb threats, monitor courts security and Special Response Group (SRG)-Retired in November 2011 Council (ERC)-Responsible for and Houston Police Department--Served as an Employee Representative suggesting police problem of work and open lines of communications between managemen employees through chain of command--under Police Chief Harold Hurtt. advise munity--under Police Houston Police Asian Task Force Division-Served as the Committee MemberRecruit and minorities to serve in crime prevention, and encourage communication with community Chief Lee P. Brown Extra Employment (part-time) Investigator, Baylor College of Medicine Security for 21 years. Investigated theft, trespassing, threat, burglary, assault, traffic, building security and maintain campus security.
