Johnstonella เป็นสกุลของพืชดอกที่อยู่ในวงศ์ Boraginaceae.[1]
ถิ่นกำเนิดของมันคือ ทางตะวันตกเฉียงใต้และทางใต้ของสหรัฐอเมริกาไปยังเม็กซิโก เปรูไปจนถึงอเมริกาใต้ตอนใต้ พบในรัฐอเมริกันของ แอริโซนา, แคลิฟอร์เนีย, เนวาดา, นิวเม็กซิโก, เท็กซัส และ ยูทาห์ เช่นเดียวกับใน ประเทศในอาร์เจนตินา ชิลี เม็กซิโก และเปรู[1]
