"แจ็กกับต้นถั่ววิเศษ" (อังกฤษ: Jack and the Beanstalk) เป็นเทพนิยายอังกฤษ ปรากฏครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 1734 ในชื่อ "เดอะสตอรีออฟแจ็กสปริกกินส์แอนด์ดิเอนแชนเต็ดบีนส์" (The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean; "เรื่องราวของแจ็ก สปริกกินส์ กับต้นถั่วมนตรา")^[1] ต่อมาในปี 1807 เบนจามิน ทาบาร์ต (Benjamin Tabart) ดัดแปลงเป็นนิยายสอนศีลธรรมชื่อ "เดอะฮิสตอรีออฟแจ็กแอนด์เดอะบีน-สตอล์ก" (The History of Jack and the Bean-Stalk; "ความเป็นไปของแจ็กกับต้นถั่ว")^[2] แล้วมาได้รับความนิยมเมื่อเฮนรี โคล (Henry Cole) ดัดแปลงแล้วลงไว้ในหนังสือชุด เดอะโฮมเทรเชอรี (The Home Treasury; สมบัติประจำบ้าน) เมื่อปี 1842^[3] ภายหลัง โจเซฟ จาค็อบส์ (Joseph Jacobs) เขียนใหม่แล้วลงไว้ในหนังสือชุด อิงลิชแฟรีเทลส์ (English Fairy Tales; "เทพปกรณัมอังกฤษ") เมื่อปี 1890^[4] ฉบับของจาค็อบส์นั้นเป็นที่เผยแพร่มากที่สุดในปัจจุบัน และเชื่อกันว่า มีเนื้อหาใกล้เคียงกับเรื่องเล่าขานดั้งเดิมมากกว่าฉบับของทาบาร์ต เพราะฉบับจาค็อบส์ไม่เน้นศีลธรรมเหมือนฉบับทาบาร์ต^[5]

แจ็กกับต้นถั่ววิเศษนี้เป็นเรื่องยอดนิยมที่สุดในบรรดานิทานเรื่องแจ็กทั้งหลายซึ่งประกอบด้วยตัวละครชื่อเดียวกันและมีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกัน^[6]
