ฟ้าผ่ารูปบอล

ฟ้าผ่ารูปบอล (อังกฤษ: Ball lightning) เป็นปรากฏการณ์ไฟฟ้าในบรรยากาศที่ยังอธิบายทางวิทยาศาสตร์ไม่ได้ มาจากรายงานเกี่ยวกับวัตถุเรืองแสง มีรูปกลม มีขนาด/เส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางต่าง ๆ จากเท่าเม็ดถั่วจนถึงหลายเมตร ปกติจะมากับพายุฟ้าคะนอง โดยดำรงอยู่นานกว่าฟ้าผ่าซึ่งอยู่ไม่ถึงวินาที รายงานต้น ๆ อ้างว่า ลูกบอลเช่นนี้ในที่สุดก็จะระเบิด บางครั้งอาจทำให้ถึงตาย แล้วทิ้งกลิ่นเหม็นของกำมะถันไว้^[1]^[2]
