Agapanthus praecox หรือในชื่อสามัญ common agapanthus (อะกาแพนธัสทั่วไป),[1] blue lily (ลิลลี่สีน้ำเงิน), African lily (ลิลลี่แอฟริกา),[2] หรือ lily of the Nile (ลิลลี่แห่งแม่น้ำไนล์)[3] เป็นพืชสวนที่นิยมทั่วโลกโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งใน ภูมิอากาศแบบเมดิเตอร์เรเนียน[4] มีถิ่นกำเนิดในนาตัลและแหลมกู๊ดโฮปในแอฟริกาใต้ ชื่อท้องถิ่น ได้แก่ agapant, bloulelie, isicakathi และ ubani[1] พืชที่ปลูกส่วนใหญ่ของสกุล Agapanthus เป็นลูกผสมหรือพันธุ์ปลูกของสายพันธุ์นี้ แบ่งออกได้เป็นสามชนิดย่อย: subsp praecox, subsp orientalis และ subsp minimus
