โจนาธาน สวิฟท์ (อังกฤษ: Jonathan Swift; 30 พฤศจิกายน ค.ศ. 1667 – 19 ตุลาคม ค.ศ. 1745) เป็นนักเขียนคนสำคัญชาวไอร์แลนด์และชาวอังกฤษ นอกจากจะเป็นนักเขียนและสวิฟท์ก็ยังเป็นนักเสียดสี นักเขียนปกิณกะ และ นักเขียนการเมืองโดยเริ่มเขียนให้กับพรรควิก และต่อมาให้กับพรรคทอรี กวี และนักบวชผู้ต่อมามีตำแหน่งเป็นอธิการของมหาวิหารเซนต์แพ็ททริคในดับลิน

สวิฟท์มีงานเขียนหลายชิ้นที่มีชื่อเสียงที่รวมทั้ง Gulliver's Travels (การเดินทางของกัลลิเวอร์), A Modest Proposal, A Journal to Stella, Drapier's Letters, The Battle of the Books, An Argument Against Abolishing Christianity และ A Tale of a Tub สวิฟท์อาจจะถือว่าเป็นผู้นำของนักเขียนประเภทเสียสีคนสำคัญของวรรณกรรมภาษาอังกฤษ และไม่ค่อยเป็นที่รู้จักกันเท่าใดนักในงานเขียนทางด้านโคลงกลอน เดิมสวิฟท์ใช้นามปากกาในการเขียนงานเช่น เลมูเอล กัลลิเวอร์ (Lemuel Gulliver), ไอแซ็ค บิคเคอร์สตาฟฟ์ (Isaac Bickerstaff) หรือบางครั้งก็ไม่ลงนาม งานเสียดสีของสวิฟท์มีสองลักษณะแบบโฮราซ (Horace) และ แบบจูเวนาล (Juvenal)
