This template SHOULD NOT be used for roller coaster or water ride articles as it results in a loss of information and categorization! Please use {{Infobox roller coaster}}, or one of the other templates at Wikipedia:WikiProject Roller Coasters for all roller coasters. If the ride is a water ride please use {{Infobox water ride}}.

name

The full name of the attraction. Should not be linked.

logo, image, caption, logo_width, image_width

All articles should feature a logo. If no logo is currently available, please use "image" to display the primary picture of the ride. The "caption" parameter can be used to describe the image if required. "image_width" sets the width of the "image" parameter while "logo_width" sets both the "logo" and the "image" parameters. If no value is set, it will default to 200px.

When using "logo" and/or "image" do not include the full code to display it. Only use the filename: "Simpsons Logo.jpg" instead of "[[File:Simpsons Logo.jpg|200px]]".

park, park2, etc

The amusement park's name. If the attraction appears at more than one park, use the next available park parameter (i.e. park2). You should link this to an appropriate article: "[[Universal Studios Singapore]]".

land, land2, etc

The area or land within the park. If you have included multiple parks ensure "land" corresponds with "park" and so forth. You should link this to an appropriate section in the park's article: "[[Universal Studios Singapore#Hollywood|Hollywood]]".

cost, cost2, etc

The exact cost of the attraction. It should be expressed in the local currency and contain a link to that currency's page: "[[USD|US$]]10 million".

soft_opened, soft_opened2, etc

The date of soft opening. If you have included multiple parks ensure "soft_opened" corresponds with "park" and so forth.

opened, opened2, etc

The date of the official public opening. It is recommended that you use {{Start date}}. If you have included multiple parks ensure "opened" corresponds with "park" and so forth.

closed, closed2, etc

The date of the final day of operation. It is recommended that you use {{End date}}. If you have included multiple parks ensure "closed" corresponds with "park" and so forth.

previousattraction, previousattraction2, etc

If this ride replaced another, please give the name of the attraction it replaced. If there is an appropriate article, provide a link to it here: "[[Back to the Future: The Ride]]".

replacement, replacement2, etc

If this ride was replaced by another, please give the name of the attraction that replaced it. If there is an appropriate article, provide a link to it here: "[[The Simpsons Ride]]".

designer, manufacturer

The ride's designer. Use "manufacturer" for the company that manufactured the ride. If there is an appropriate article, provide a link to it here: "[[Intamin]]".

type

The type of ride. Is it a simulator, 3D film, children's ride, flat ride, etc.

theme

The theme of the ride. If there is an appropriate article, provide a link to it here: "[[Jurassic Park]]".

propulsion

If the ride features some kind of launch, include details of it here.

vehicle_type

The type of vehicle. Car, simulator, boat etc.

vehicle_names

The name of the vehicles.

vehicles

The number of the vehicles.

guests_per_vehicle

The number of guests per vehicle. Only use if there is only 1 car_per_vehicle.

cars_per_vehicle

If the ride features a train of cars (like a tram, train, etc), include the number of cars here. Do not use if there is only one car.

guests_per_car

The number of guests per car. If there is only one car use "guests_per_vehicle" instead.

duration

Must contain only numeric characters as it will be tagged with the word minutes.

length, track_height

Must be expressed in feet and may contain only numeric characters as the infobox converts it to other measurements.

speed

Must be expressed in miles per hour and may contain only numeric characters as the infobox converts it to other measurements.

height_requirement

Must be expressed in inches and may contain only numeric characters as the infobox converts it to other measurements.

launch_count, lift-count

How many launches or lifts does the ride feature.

universal_express, single_rider, accessible, transfer_accessible, assistive_listening, cc

Include this field followed by the word "available" if any of these apply to the attraction. "accessible" refers to Wheelchair Accessibility. "transfer_accessible" means riders must transfer from wheelchair. "assistive_listening" means that assistive listening available. "cc" means closed captioning is available.

custom_label_1, custom_value_1, custom_label_2, custom_value_2, etc

If there is a general statistic that is missing from the above categories, include it here. The label fields will appear in bold on the left while the values will appear normally on the right.

Categorisation

The infobox will automatically categorise any article on which it appears in the following categories:

• Category:Universal Parks & Resorts attractions by name
• Category:Amusement rides
• Category:Defunct amusement rides (if a closed date is set)

For every park that the infobox recognises, it will automatically categorise it under the park's category also:

• Category:Universal Studios Hollywood
• Category:Universal Studios Japan
• Category:Universal Studios Singapore
