สาหร่ายสีทอง (อังกฤษ: golden algae; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Chrysophyceae) เป็นสาหร่ายกลุ่มใหญ่ ส่วนใหญ่พบในน้ำจืด[3] สาหร่ายสีทองยังสามารถใช้เรียก Prymnesium parvum ที่ทำให้ปลาตาย[4]
