การสร้างสรรค์

การสร้างสรรค์ (อังกฤษ: creativity) หมายถึงการสร้างสิ่งใหม่ๆที่มีคุณค่า โดยสิ่งใหม่ที่เกิดขึ้นอาจมีการอ้างถึงบุคคลผู้สร้างสรรค์ หรือสังคมหรือขอบเขตภายในที่ได้สร้างสรรค์สิ่งแปลกใหม่ขึ้นมา ซึ่งการวัดคุณค่าดังกล่าวอาจใช้ได้หลายวิธี

สำหรับด้านวิชาการนั้น ต่างให้ความสนใจเกี่ยวกับการสร้างสรรค์กันอย่างแพร่หลาย: ทั้งทางจิตและกระบวนการทางระบบประสาทที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์, ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างลักษณะทางบุคลิกภาพและความสามารถในการสร้างสรรค์, ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความคิดสร้างสรรค์และสติปัญญา, การเรียนรู้และสุขภาพจิต ตลอดจนวิธีการเสริมสร้างความคิดสร้างสรรค์ผ่านการฝึกอบรมและเทคโนโลยีเข้าช่วย

ความคิดสร้างสรรค์และการกระทำเชิงสร้างสรรค์จึงมีการศึกษาในหลายสาขาการเรียนรู้ ทั้งทางด้านจิตวิทยา, วิทยาการการรู้, การศึกษา, ปรัชญา (โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งปรัชญาทางวิทยาศาสตร์), เทววิทยา, สังคมวิทยา, ภาษาศาสตร์, ธุรกิจศึกษา และเศรษฐศาสตร์ อันเป็นผลให้เกิดความหลากหลายของคำจำกัดความและวิธีการ
