Bicycle Routes

Bicycles are vehicles made by people and powered by human strength to move forward. Cycling is a healthy activity, doesn’t waste time on traffic jams in rush hours and also preserves the environment. It’s really good to have good health and do the exciting things. Cyclists take an interest in Vachirabenjatas Park, Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkhunthien Road and Bangkrachao Road.

Suvarnabhumi Airport

The first place is Suvarnabhumi Airport. It has 2 entrances that are a motorway and Bang Na Trat Road, but both are closed to bicycle traffic. However, for bicycle riders, there is a ring road around Suvarnabhumi Airport. Vendors set up booths to sell foods and beverages from 06.00-17.00. The rule to use the ring road is to possess and be prepared to show an ID card or a driver’s licence. The bike route is one way, the surface of the road is smooth and the distance is 23.5 km around Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Vachirabenjatas Park

The second place is Vachirabenjatas Park. The entrance adjoins the PTT head office building. It has a shop to rent a bike by using an ID card. This facility is open from 04.30-21.00. The bike route is one way, a combination of smooth and rough road surfaces, and is a good place to view butterflies and nature in Bangkok.

Bangkhunthien Road

The third place is Bangkhunthien Road at Rama 2. It is a road that has a mangrove forest on both sides but it has a lane for bicycles. The Phanthai Norasing Historical Park is on this road and the distance is 20 km.

Bangkrachao Road

The fourth place is Bangkrachao Road. It is at Phra Pradaeng. There are a lot of trees and the area is still natural. It has Bangnamphung Floating Market, Klong Lat Poh and mangrove forest.This place is a good learning source for fans of nature. the total distance is 10 km.

People like to ride in all these places because they are easy to go to and have a natural atmosphere.
