Thammasat Undergraduate Business Challenge or TUBC [see tubc.org for more infomation] is an international business case competition that brings together undergraduate students from various leading international business schools around the world. The competition is hosted annually by the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (International Program) of Thammasat Business School.

TUBC is recognized highly by both the local and international communities. This year marks the 21st anniversary of its continuing success in embracing and enhancing young talents. As such, TUBC is known to be the most prestigious business case competition ever established in Thailand.

Each year, representatives from the world’s top business schools are invited to join the competition and the 4 finalists of "The Challenger by TUBC" will also proceed to participate in TUBC . The case is written based on real and happening situation of a selected business. It will be given to all the teams to analyze and to provide ultimate solutions which will subsequently be presented to the panel of honorable judges.

• To provide participants with opportunities to exercise their knowledge and develop their skills such as the ability to work under pressure and limited resources, to analyze and solve business problems, to work as a team and to manage time smartly.

• To promote and extend global business network among international business schools.

• To prepare students for a rapidly changing global business dynamics.

TUBC 2018 Final Round

• To create awareness of business case competition among Thai society.

• To be acknowledged by the international standard of business schools for its professionalism and hospitality.

Competition Format[แก้]

Each participating team is given 30 uninterrupted hours to analyze and prepare solutions for a given business case.

• Teams are divided into 4 divisions. Each division consists of 5 participating teams. Each team’s representative will select their division from a random draw.

• For preliminary round, each team presents their analysis and solutions to a panel of honorable judges within 20 minutes and followed by 15 minutes of questions and answers session. The team with the highest score from each division will advance to the final round. However, the score in the preliminary round would not be included in the final round.

• For final round, 4 finalist teams will present their analysis and solutions to the new panel of honorable judges. The presentation is limited to 20 minutes and is followed by another 20 minutes of questions and answers session. The one team that has successfully earned the highest score will be the winner of TUBC.[1]
