สวัสดีครับ

ผมกำลังคุยกับคุณ ใครก็ได้ได้ที่ผ่านเข้ามา และสนใจช่วยกันฟื้นฟูวงการนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย ปกติคุณจะพบผมได้ในเว็บบอร์ดสาธารณะ พันธุ์ทิพย์ดอทคอม(ชื่อเล่น บอร์ดพันทิป) กลุ่มย่อยนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ ในโต๊ะเฉลิมไทย ซึ่งสามารถไปถึงได้ด้วยลิงก์นี้ http://sfclub.pantipmember.com

แรกเริ่มเดิมที เมื่อราวเก้าหรือสิบปีที่แล้ว ผมเข้าร่วมพันทิปด้วยวัตถุประสงค์หลักที่ต้องการ เขียนบทความที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับไซไฟ เผยแพร่ให้สังคมไทย และรวบรวมกลุ่มคนที่สนใจ ในนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ให้เป็นกลุ่มก้อน (ทำอย่างกับ ฮาริ เซ็ลดอน ในสถาบันสถาปนา) เพื่อทำให้มีความคึกคักในวงการนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ขึ้นมาอีก

สิบปีผ่านไป ผมได้รู้จักคนมากขึ้น แม้จะเพียงออนไลน์ แต่ก็มีขาประจำหลายคน ขณะเดียวกัน บอร์ดที่เคยคุยกันลึกๆ ก็มีความวุ่นวายมากขึ้นตามลำดับ เว็บที่ผมเคยพยายามสร้างขึ้น เพื่อเป็นแหล่งข้อมูลไซไฟ ผมก็ไม่ได้อัปเดต เนื่องจากไม่มีเวลา แม้ว่าแต่แรกจะวางแผนถึงขั้นชักชวนสมาชิกฯให้รวมเรื่องสั้น ลงตีพิมพ์ออกมาก็ตาม ผมคนเดียวคงไม่มีแรงพอ

สิบปีมานี้ ที่ผมพยายามทำมาตลอด ไม่ใช่แค่อยากหาเพื่อนในบอร์ด ไม่ใช่อยากได้รายได้ใดๆ ผมอยากเห็นคนไทยเขียนนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ ออกมามากๆ อยากเห็นคนกลับมาสนใจนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์กันอีกครั้ง

พิจารณาแล้วเห็นว่า เป้าประสงค์ที่จะผลักดันวงการนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย คงจะกระืำทำไม่ได้เต็มที่ ผมจึงมองหาหนทางใหม่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการเขียนบทความ ลงในวารสารวิทยาศาสตร์ และเทคโนโลยี ฉบับหนึ่ง ที่มีคำขวัญว่า "สาระทันยุค เพื่อคนทันสมัย" และการพยายามแปลบทความ ส่งมาให้กับวิกิพีเดีัย ที่ผมกำลังจะทำต่อไปนี้ น่าจะทำให้สิ่งที่ผมลงแรง ไปในวันนี้ คงอยู่ในฐานข้อมูลอินเตอร์เน็ตไปอีกนาน ส่งถึงผู้คนได้กว้างกว่า ไม่ถูกลบไป เช่น บทความที่เป็นกระทู้ ในบอร์ด

ดังนั้น ผมจะเข้ามาช่วยสร้างวิกิพีเดียตั้งแต่นี้ต่อไปนะครับ

Hello there,

Greeting, I am talking to anybody who is passing by and interested in re-building and reconstruct Science Fiction circle in Thailand. Normally you can find me at http://www.pantip.com , a public webboard which, if you are Thai people, is wellknown for its fame in various interest groups.

I always post my discussion topic at the subgroup "SciFi and Fantasy" in the main group 'Chalermthai" inwhich you can reach by this link http://sfclub.pantipmember.com

At first, 9-10 years ago, I joined pantip board with the main objective to write useful documentary articles related to science fiction to the public and to look for a group of SF allies who share the same interest to strengten and build SciFi group of pantip.com and, if we become strong enough, to collect a short stories written by members to get published and put it to the public view to get the momentum to SciFi community in Thailand just like Mr.Juntri Siribunrod, the main figure in Thai SciFi used to do in 60s before he passed away.

Ten years has passed, I knew more people, only online identity BUT there are many old friends in the net. At the same time the pantip board beccome more chaotic, more bad-temper people get in, and my website got obsolete because I don't have time to update it.

I realized that my approach might be wrong.

What I have been doing for ten years, isn't just finding online friends, not for income, but I really wish Thai people to have an access to update data, to write more stories and novels and put forth their intellectual quality in their works. (Like Terry Pratchett did in his famous Discworld Novels.)

Considering that my goal to push Thai Sci-Fi could not be done only by myself, I tried to find a new approach, such as writing a column for local Science and Technology magazine and this new plan to submit some of my articles to wikipedia. What I am going to do from now, I hopt it to last in the database and get distributed to the public. These public data tends to last longer and get broader audiences than discussion topics in pantip.com weboard which is updated everyday.

For all these reasons, I will join you guys and put my effort to help create Thai wikipedia from now on.
