Dump Area is a strategic, puzzle video game originally developed by a group of Computer-Science and Information and Technology students from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). The original game will be developed with also series and game mode in the future since nowadays. Today, Dump Area is just now a demo which has a multiplayer mode. The main character of Dump Area is a backhoe.

Overview and vision statement[แก้]

This is a 3D game which has a goal to beat the others competitor. This game needs at least 4 player to complete. It is a turn base game and each player will roll 2 dices for guess step and pattern subsequently. Finally, the winner is player who can beat all others area.

In addition, There are 6 step which is a number that you can run on your won area. Following a dice, 6 sides will be count as step. The pattern, there also are 6 styles for players to allocate area. Here is the format of step and pattern.

Uniqueness. Dump area is a RPG game which is developed from a board game. Player needs to plan to select the best way to win. It becomes a new style from combination of turn based strategy with puzzle in board game.

Mechanic. - A minimum of two players are required to begin a game. - Each player must dump the area, both empty areas and enemies’ areas, to allocate the areas. The winner is a player who has survives from this war. - Each player has to roll two dices (step’s dice and pattern’s dice) of their turn, to take a step and select a pattern. - To start playing the game, in the first turn, every player must roll the pattern dice in order to select some pattern and dump it. - Each turn, each player must roll their dice to take a step and select a pattern respectively. - The game has six patterns (Picture) *********. The player can walk within his areas which are dumped from patterns, and also distance is depended on step’s dice.

Gameplay descriptions[แก้]

The general goal throughout the series is to complete the game by strategically placing an area in order to kill enemies and expand an area. Pattern and Step which are available from random function of the game are a skill in order to kill or injure player characters. However, they can also kill or injure the player character by collect a powerups. Dump Area game is also featured by a multiplayer mode, where other backhoe (character) act as opponents and the last one standing is the winner. For the multiplayer mode, powerups are fulfillment the game. Although Dump area game type is combined from many games type of currently game such as Tetris-like puzzle games, and Chessboard-like strategic planning game. It is considered to be a new type of video game.
