ชินิ-เอะ
ชินิ-เอะ (ญี่ปุ่น: 死絵; โรมาจิ: Shini-e แปลว่า "ภาพพิมพ์ที่ระลึก" บางครั้งเรียกเป็น "ภาพแห่งความตาย" หรือ "ภาพผู้เสียชีวิต") เป็นภาพพิมพ์บล็อกไม้ญี่ปุ่น[1] ในรูปแบบ ภาพอูกิโยะ ตั้งแต่สมัยเอโดะ (ค.ศ. 1603–1867) จนถึงต้นศตวรรษที่ 20
เมื่อนักแสดงคาบูกิเสียชีวิต ก็จะมีการเผยแพร่ภาพ ชินิ-เอะ พร้อมกับกลอนอำลาและชื่อหลังเสียชีวิต[2]
ศิลปินอูกิโยะ มักเป็นผู้วาดภาพผู้เสียชีวิต เพื่อยกย่องเพื่อนร่วมงานหรืออาจารย์ที่เสียชีวิตไปแล้ว
