Proposal to add GoogleTrans gadget[แก้]
Hi there,
Sorry about the English.
I have made a GoogleTrans gadget which has been on the enwiki for around a year now. It is also on 7 other wikipedias.
It functions like the Google toolbar translation feature. When you position the cursor over a word in a webpage and hit the SHIFT key, the Google translation of that word (or of selected text < 500 characters) appears in a popup below the cursor.

It really works well for people who have intermediate Thai as they can easily look up a word they don't know (every 2 or 3 sentences). This is how I use the tool to read French and Spanish webpages. However, the person who knows no Thai (like me) can simply select a sentence or two and have it translated as well. In each popup there is a link to Google Translation Services. If you click on this link then the whole page is translated.
To change the language translated to, you select the link within the popup or you click on the tab for the gadget at the top right of the page. Thai is one of the languages translated by Google translation services. Normally, the translated to language is what your default language is in your profile, so there is usually no need to even select a language.
Good luck with your wiki, and with Thailand in general. My father goes there all the time and loves the place.

- By the way, the result from Google Translate that is translated from/into Thai language is now still not good enough to understand; it usually translates incorrectly in both vocabulary and grammar. We avoid using any automatic translation here. --octahedron80 11:15, 4 กันยายน 2553 (ICT)
