Sabouraud agar เป็นอาหารแข็ง ที่มีpeptone[1] ใช้เลี้ยงdermatophytes และราชนิดอื่นๆ[2][3][4]
อาหารนี้ตั้งชื่อตามผู้คิดค้นคือ Raymond Sabouraud เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2435 ล่าสุดปรับปรุงโดย Emmons pH จะเกือบเป็นกลาง เพื่อสนับสนุนการเจริญของเชื้อราอื่นๆ[5]
