มนุษยศาสตร์ดิจิทัล เป็นสาขาหนึ่งของการวิจัย การสอน และการสร้างสรรค์ ที่พิจารณาถึงการตัดข้ามของศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์และสาขาวิชาของมนุษยศาสตร์ มนุษยศาสตร์ดิจิทัลพัฒนามาจากสาขาวิชาที่เรียกว่า คอมพิวเตอร์สำหรับมนุษยศาสตร์ ปัจจุบันสาขาวิชานี้ครอบคลุมหัวข้อหลากหลาย ตั้งแต่การภัณฑารักษ์ออนไลน์ ไปจนถึงการทำเหมืองข้อมูลชุดข้อมูลวัฒนธรรมขนาดใหญ่
