This is the depth of the lake that had plenty of water now encroached.

Pic 2 is a lane that was once a Sluice destroyed during MGRs rule now converted as a street by the encroachers. You can see a hut at the right side of the picture built on the Lank bund. One can imagine the height of the hut.
