This was absolutely spotless, and has clearly been religiously cleaned! I don't think I've ever seen such a well-kept KP Starlet.
What makes this one further interesting is that it is an early example of a Japanese used import, from when they first came in to NZ en-masse in the late 1980s. The key giveaways are the fender mounted mirrors (on NZ assembled models these were door mounted) and the 1989 issue numberplate. This one, according to Carjam, has a 1.3L 4K engine, the Starlets sold in NZ when this was built normally used 1.0L 2K units.
It is further interesting to see this in 5-door form - most of the RWD Starlets in NZ were generally 3-doors.
