อิบน์ วะห์ชียะฮ์ (อาหรับ: ابن وحشية; ชื่อเต็ม อะบูบักร์ อะห์มัด อิบน์ อะลี อิบน์ วะห์ชียะฮ์ (أبو بكر أحمد بن علي ابن وحشية); เสียชีวิต ป. ค.ศ. 930) เป็นกสิกร, นักพิษวิทยา และนักเล่นแร่แปรธาตุชาวแนบาเทียที่เกิดในกุสซีน ใกล้อัลกูฟะฮ์ ประเทศอิรัก[2] เขาเป็นนักเขียน กิตาบุลฟิลาฮะตุนนะบะฏียะฮ์ ผลงานภาษาอาหรับเกี่ยวกับการเกษตร, โหราศาสตร์ และเวทมนตร์[3]

However, according to Stephan, El-Daly "vastly overemphasizes Ibn Waḥshiyya’s accuracy". El-Daly's characterization of pseudo-Ibn Wahshiyya's and other contemporary Arabic authors' interest in the decipherment of ancient scripts as representing a coordinated research program, and as lying at the foundations of modern Egyptology, was found lacking in evidence by Colla 2008.
