เดอะชาเม็น (The Shamen) เป็นวงดนตรี จาก แอเบอร์ดีน, ประเทศสก็อตแลนด์ เริ่มเมื่อปี 1985 โดย Colin Angus และ Will Sinnott มีอัลบัมแรกชื่อ Dropในปี 1987 อัลบัมต่อมาคือ In Gorbachev We Trust ใน 1989 2อัลบัมนี้เป็นอัลบัมแนวอัลเทอร์เนทีฟ ร็อก หลังจากนั้นก็มีสมาชิกใหม่คือ Richard West (Mr C) วงนี้ก็ได้เปลี่ยนเป็นดนตรีแดนซ์หลังจากได้ออก ซิงเกิล "Move Any Mountain" และ "Ebeneezer Goode" ขึ้นชาร์ต อันดับ1 บนชาร์ตซิงเกิลแห่งสหราชอาณาจักร แล้วทำให้พวกเขาก้าวสู่กระแสนิยม ต่อมาในปี 1999 ก็ได้แตกวง
