I can find two different values for the area of the district - according to amphoe.com and the website of the district it is 337.550 km², according to report from the 2000 census it is 233.8 km². The article gives another value close to the census value of 231.147 km² without any sources. The numbers from the census have the big advantage that the values for all district sum up correctly to 12891.5 km².
