English: Doi Luang Chiang Dao is located in the area of Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai province. The local area of Tumbol Chiang Dao comprises of Mae Na, Muang Korng and Muang Ngai and is a highland with the height of 2,225 meters above sea level. It is the place at the base of Chiang Dao Cave which is a large cave situated 5 Kilometers from Chiang Dao District. At the front of the cave there are several Buddhist statues. The majority of them are built with Myanmar arts. If we walk from the door into the cave we will find some streaks that are wide and some streaks which are narrow. There are several Buddhist statues that are enshrined inside the cave especially the Pine Reclining Buddha built in the style of sleep with a turning face up. In the cave there are 4 parts: Tham Kaew (Crystal cave), Tham Pranorn (Lying Buddha cave), Tham Narm (Water cave) and Tham Mah (Horse cave).
