อะบู นุวาส อัลฮะซัน อิบน์ ฮานี อัลฮะกะมี – ชื่ออีกแบบหนึ่งคือ: อัลฮะซัน อิบน์ ฮานี อับดุลเอาวัล อัศเศาะบาฮ์, อะบู อะลี (อาหรับ: الحسن بن هانئ بن عبد الأول بن الصباح ،ِابو علي) รู้จักกันในชื่อ อบู นุวาส อัสซะละมี (أبو نواس السلمي)[1][2] หรือแค่ อะบู นุวาส[3] (أبو نواس Abū Novās) – (ป. 756 – ป. 814), เป็นหนึ่งในกวีภาษาอาหรับที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของยุคคลาสสิก ซึ่งบางครั้งก็ผลิตผลงานเป็นภาษาเปอร์เซียด้วย เขาเกิดในเมืองอาห์วาซในเปอร์เซีย พ่อเป็นชาวอาหรับ ส่วนแม่เป็นชาวเปอร์เซีย[3] เขากลายเป็นต้นแบบของกวีนิพนธ์อาหรับร่วมสมัยในทุกประเภท นอกจากนี้ อะบู นุวาสยังเข้าไปอยู่ในคติชาวบ้าน และมีการกล่าวถึงเขาหลายครั้งในหนังสือ อาหรับราตรี
