กองทัพบกจักรวรรดิญี่ปุ่น (IJA) (Kyūjitai: 大日本帝國陸軍, Shinjitai: 大日本帝国陸軍, Romaji: Dai-Nippon Teikoku Rikugun) หรือ กองทัพแห่งสมเด็จพระจักรพรรดิ หรือชื่ออย่างเป็นทางการคือ กองทัพบกมหาจักรวรรดิญี่ปุ่น เป็นกองทัพบกของจักรวรรดิญี่ปุ่นตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1871 จนถึง ค.ศ. 1945 เมื่อถูกยุบตามรัฐธรรมนูญแห่งประเทศญี่ปุ่นที่จะสละการใช้กองกำลังเป็นวิธีของการยุติข้อขัดแย้งระหว่างประเทศ กองกำลังป้องกันตนเองทางบกแห่งญี่ปุ่น (JGSDF) จึงได้มีการจัดตั้งหลังจากการสลายของกองทัพบกจักรวรรดิญี่ปุ่น
