“โรมันอียิปต์” สีเหลือง

จังหวัดโรมันอียิปต์ หรือ เอกิพตัส (อังกฤษ: Roman Egypt หรือ Aegyptus) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ 30 ปีก่อนคริสต์ศตวรรษหลังจากอ็อคเตเวียน (ผู้ต่อมาเป็นจักรพรรดิออกัสตัส) ได้รับชัยชนะต่อมาร์ค แอนโทนี โค่นราชบัลลังก์ของพระราชินีคลีโอพัตรา และผนวกอียิปต์เข้าเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของจักรวรรดิโรมัน จังหวัดประกอบดินแดนที่ส่วนใหญ่คือประเทศอียิปต์ปัจจุบันยกเว้นคาบสมุทรไซไน เอกิพตัสมีดินแดนติดต่อกับจังหวัดเครตาและไซรีน (Creta et Cyrene) ทางตะวันตก และจังหวัดยูเดียทางตะวันออก และเป็นบริเวณสำคัญที่ผลิตธัญญาหารให้แก่จักรวรรดิโรมัน
