English: The memorial park is approximately 15 kilometres away from the downtown district on 3032 Highway. Covering 115 rais, the park features a botanical garden (arboretum) and the Monument of Bang Rachan Heroes, a cast sculpture of 11 village leaders which are Mr.Tan, Mr.Chote, Mr.In, Mr.Muang, Mr.Dok, Mr.Thong Kaew, Mr.Chan Nuartkaew, Khun Sun, colonel Ruang, Mr.Thong Men and Mr.Thong Sangyai. It was created by the Department of Fine Arts in 2499 BC in commemoration of the villagers who made the ultimate sacrifice in a bid to defend the motherland. The fighting of the villagers, delayed the Myanmar army for going to Ayuttha which helped the King’s army to have more time to prepare for the fight. The Bang Rachan Historical Study Centre stages exhibitions in separate rooms, depicting stories of Bang Rachan camp, the province’s heritages, and ways of living of the locals and well-known products. In the 4-6 of February in every year there is a memorial day for these sacrifice villagers.
