Description: The royal procession to Parliament at Westminster, 4 February 1512. 17th century copy (in British Library (Add. MS 22306[1][ลิงก์เสีย])) of the original 1512 5.5 metre long vellum roll in the Library of Trinity College, Cambridge ("Procession of Parliament", shelfmark 0.3.59[2]archive copy at the Wayback Machine). Left to right:
Unknown KG (4 bars on peerage robes suggest a marquess), with white staff of office, no name or arms shown. Apparently John de Vere, 13th Earl of Oxford, (1442-1513), KG, who served as Lord Chamberlain 1485-1513. The Lord Chamberlain would perhaps lead the procession with his ceremonial verger's white rod.
Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, KG, with white staff of office;
Henry Bourchier, Earl of Essex, KG;
Richard Grey, 3rd Earl of Kent, 6th Baron Grey of Ruthin, KG;
Thomas Stanley, Earl of Derby;
Henry Stafford, 1st Earl of Wiltshire, KG.
