ศาสนาอิสลามเป็นศาสนาในประเทศฝรั่งเศสที่มีผู้นับถือมากเป็นอันดับ 2 เป็นรองเพียงศาสนาคริสต์ จากการประมาณการล่าสุดพบว่ามีชาวมุสลิมประมาณ 9 ล้านคน คิดเป็นประมาณร้อยละ 13 ของประชากรทั้งประเทศ ตัวเลขนี้เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องจาก ค.ศ. 2023 ซึ่งขณะนั้นชาวมุสลิมคิดเป็นประมาณร้อยละ 10 ของประชากรวัยผู้ใหญ่ หรือประมาณ 6.8 ล้านคน ตามข้อมูลจาก INSEE[2][3][4][5]
