คนุท ฮัมซุน (Knut Hamsun) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1859 เป็นนักเขียนชาวนอร์เวย์ผู้ได้รับรางวัลโนเบลสาขาวรรณกรรมปี ค.ศ. 1920 ผลงานที่มีชื่อเสียงในเมืองไทยได้แก่เรื่อง คนโซ (HUNGER) ซึ่งแปลโดย แดนอรัญ แสงทอง
