สำหรับสถิติศาสตร์ สหสัมพันธ์ (อังกฤษ: correlation) หมายถึงความสัมพันธ์ทางสถิติระหว่างตัวแปรสุ่มตั้งแต่สองตัวแปรขึ้นไป
Pearson's product-moment coefficient
ค่าของสหสัมพันธ์อาจคำนวณได้จากสหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน (Pearson's correlation) ซึ่งคือการนำค่าความแปรปรวนร่วมเกี่ยวระหว่างตัวแปรสุ่มทั้งสองไปหารด้วยค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานของตัวแปรทั้งสอง
สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ρX,Y ระหว่างตัวแปรสุ่ม X และ Y โดยที่มีค่าคาดหมาย μX และ μY และ ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน σX และ σY นิยามได้ดังนี้:
