ต้นไม้ปีใหม่

ต้นไม้ปีใหม่ (อังกฤษ: New Year's tree) เป็นต้นไม้ตกแต่งคล้ายต้นคริสต์มาส^[1] ซึ่งจัดแสดงเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองปีใหม่โดยเฉพาะ ระวังสับสนกับธรรมเนียมการตั้งต้นคริสต์มาสไว้จนถึงหลังวันขึ้นปีใหม่ (ตามประเพณีคือจนถึงวันสมโภชพระคริสต์แสดงองค์ในวันที่ 6 มกราคม)^[2] ต้นไม้ปีใหม่พบได้ทั่วไปในหลายวัฒนธรรมและหลายประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในรัฐหลังสหภาพโซเวียต, อดีตประเทศยูโกสลาเวีย, ประเทศแอลเบเนีย, ประเทศตุรกี, ประเทศจีน และประเทศเวียดนาม
