จอห์น เซาร์สบาย โกลเวอร์ จูเนียร์ (อังกฤษ: John Soursby Glover Jr.) เป็นนักแสดงชาวอเมริกัน โดยเขามีชื่อเสียงจากการเล่นบทเป็นตัวละครร้ายอาทิ Daniel Clamp จากเรื่อง Gremlins 2: The New Batch, ไลโอเนล ลูเธอร์ จากเรื่องซูเปอร์แมนในซีรีส์สมอลล์วิลล์ และเขายังได้พากย์เสียงตัวละครริดเลอร์ ในอาณาจักรการ์ตูนดีซียูนิเวิร์ส
ประวัติ
[แก้]จอห์น โกลเวอร์ เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1944 ที่คิงสตัน, รัฐนิวยอร์ก, สหรัฐ[1] และเติบโตที่ซาลิสเบอรี, รัฐแมริแลนด์ โกลเวอร์ได้เข้ารับการศึกษา ณ Wicomico High School และเรียนจบในระดับอุดมศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยทาวสัน[2][3]
ชีวิตส่วนตัว
[แก้]โกลเวอร์ได้ออกมาเปิดเผยว่าเขาเป็นเกย์ โดยเขาได้แต่งงานกับอดัม เคิร์ธส์แมนในปีค.ศ. 2016[4] ซึ่งทั้งคู่ได้คบกันตั้งแต่ปีค.ศ. 1993[5]
โกลเวอร์ได้มีส่วนร่วมกับสมาคมโรคอัลไซเมอร์ จากการที่พ่อของเขาได้เป็นโรคดังกล่าว และทำให้เขาหันมาทำกิจกรรมการกุศลและเคลื่อนไหวเกี่ยวกับประเด็นโรคอัลไซเมอร์[5]
โกลเวอร์มักจะกลับไปที่มหาวิทยาลัยที่เขาเคยเรียนและร่วมทำงานกับนักศึกษาการละครเวที[6][7] โดยสาขาการละครของมหาวิทยาลัยก็ได้ให้เกียรติเขาโดยนำชื่อของเขามาตั้งเป็นชื่อของทุนการศึกษา[8]
