เจสัน ไอแซ็กส์ (อังกฤษ: Jason Isaacs) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน ค.ศ. 1963 เป็นนักแสดงชาวอังกฤษ เกิดในลิเวอร์พูล โตในลิเวอร์พูลและต่อมาในลอนดอน มีผลงานเด่นในบท พันเอกทาวิงตัน จากเรื่อง The Patriot (2000) และ บทลูเซียส มัลฟอย จากภาพยนตร์ Harry Potter
ประวัติ[แก้]
เจสัน ไอแซ็กส์ เป็นลูกคนที่สามในจำนวนสี่คนของพ่อค้าชาวลิเวอร์พูล เดิมทีเขาตั้งใจเรียนทางกฎหมาย คล้าย ๆ กับพี่น้องอีกสามคน ที่เป็นหมอ เป็นนักกฎหมาย และเป็นนักบัญชี แต่ช่วงที่เริ่มเรียนกฎหมายที่มหาวิทยาลัยบริสตอล (Bristol University) เขาตัดสินใจพักการเรียนหันมาเข้าเรียนที่โรงเรียนปาฐกถาและการละคร (Central School of Speech and Drama) ในกรุงลอนดอน เขาได้ขึ้นเวทีระดับอาชีพทันทีเมื่อมาถึงลอนดอน และมีผลงานทั้งละครเวทีและละครโทรทัศน์ จนกระทั่งได้แสดงหนังใหญ่เป็นครั้งแรกในปี 1989 กับบทประกอบเป็นคุณหมอ ในเรื่อง The Tall Guy ของ เมล สมิธ ในปีเดียวกันนั้น เขายังได้บทประจำในทีวีซีรีส์เรื่อง Capital City อีกด้วย และต่อมาเขาก็ได้แสดงซีรีส์ทางโทรทัศน์และในงานละครเวทีอีกหลายเรื่อง เช่น ในงานสร้างของโรงละครแห่งชาติ (Royal National Theatre) ที่นำงานเขียนรางวัลพูลิทเซอร์ของ โทนี่ คุชเนอร์ เรื่อง Angels ไปแสดงที่อเมริกาในปี 1993 เป็นต้น
จนเขาเป็นที่รู้จักกับการแสดงภาพยนตร์ฮอลลีวูดเรื่อง Armageddon (1998) ที่เขาร่วมแสดงกับ บรู๊ซ วิลลิส จากนั้นก็เล่น หนังเบาสมองระทึกขวัญเรื่อง Divorcing Jack (1998) ที่เขาร่วมแสดงนำกับ เดวิด ธิวลิส ต่อจากนั้นเขาแสดงในเรื่อง The End of the Affair (1999) ของนีล จอร์แดน ในบทบาท บาทหลวง เป็นภาพยนตร์ ที่ดัดแปลงจากนิยายของ เกรแฮม กรีน และนำแสดงโดย จูลิแอนน์ มัวร์ กับ ราล์ฟ เฟียนเนส แล้วเขาก็มีชื่อเสียงจากบทบาท ผู้พันทาวิงตัน ในภาพยนตร์เรื่อง เดอะ แพทริออต ชาติบุรุษ ดับแค้นฝังแผ่นดิน (The Patriot) (2000) ที่มี เมล กิบสัน แสดงนำเป็นวีรบุรุษของเรื่อง
ต่อจากนั้นเขาก็มีผลงานภาพยนตร์เรื่อยๆ อย่างเรื่อง Sweet November (2001), Black Hawk Down (2001), Windtaklers (2002) และ The Tuxedo (2002) และเรื่อง แฮร์รี่ พอตเตอร์ กับห้องแห่งความลับ (2002) แฮร์รี่ พอตเตอร์ กับนักโทษแห่งอัซคาบัน) (2004) แฮร์รี่ พอตเตอร์ กับถ้วยอัคนี (2005) แฮร์รี่ พอตเตอร์ กับภาคีนกฟีนิกซ์ (2007) ในบทลูเซียส มัลฟอย และยังร่วมแสดงกับ ฌอน คอนเนอรี่ ใน The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen และรับบทเป็น กัปตันฮุ๊ค/มิสเตอร์ดาร์ลิ่ง ใน Peter Pan
