FGIN-1-27 เป็นยาเสพติดออกฤทธิ์คลายกังวล ซึ่งทำหน้าที่เป็นส่วนแยกของอะโกนิสต์ที่ตัวรับเบนโซไดอะซิปีนซึ่งอยู่รอบนอก หรือที่เรียกว่า ไมโทคอนเดรีย 18 kDa ทรานสโลเคเตอร์โปรตีน หรือ TSPO ซึ่งมีส่วนทำให้เกิดการคลายกังวลโดยการกระตุ้นกระบวนการสเตียรอยโดเจเนซิสของนิวโรแอคทีฟสเตียรอยด์ ดังเช่น สารอัลโลเพรคนาโนโลน^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]
