การเล่นนอนคว่ำ (อังกฤษ: lying down game) หรือภาษาปากมักเรียกว่า แพลงกิง (อังกฤษ: planking)[1] หรือ เฟซดาวส์ (อังกฤษ: face downs) เป็นกิจกรรมที่ได้รับความนิยมในหลายส่วนของโลก โดยผู้เล่นนอนเหยียดกายคว่ำหน้า มือทั้งสองข้างแนบชิดกับลำตัว ณ สถานที่แปลกหรือไม่ธรรมดา และให้ผู้อื่นถ่ายภาพให้ แล้วนำมาเผยแพร่ทางอินเทอร์เน็ต[2] ผู้เล่นจะต้องหาสถานที่ที่ไม่เหมือนใคร[2] หากเป็นไปได้ สถานที่นั้นควรเป็นที่สาธารณะ และมีผู้ร่วมเล่นหลายคน[3]

มีผู้อ้างว่า การเล่นนอนคว่ำนั้น แกรี คลาร์กสัน และคริสเตียน แลงดอน คิดขึ้นใน ค.ศ. 1997[4] ได้รับความนิยมครั้งแรกในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของอังกฤษ[5] จากนั้น ได้รับความนิยมทั่วทั้งเกาะบริเตนในฤดูร้อน ค.ศ. 2009 โดยเฉพาะในเดือนกันยายน ค.ศ. 2009 ที่มีแพทย์เจ็ดคน และนางพยาบาลอีกจำนวนหนึ่ง เล่นนอนคว่ำขณะปฏิบัติหน้าที่อยู่ยังโรงพยาบาลเกรตเวสเทิร์น ในสวินดอน ประเทศอังกฤษ[6] [7] ทั้งนี้ มีผู้วิจารณ์เกมนี้ว่า "ไร้จุดหมาย" [3][8]

การเล่นนอนคว่ำนี้แพร่ไปในส่วนอื่น ๆ ของโลกด้วย ในเกาหลีใต้เรียกว่า "การเล่นเป็นคนตาย" ("시체놀이") (ค.ศ. 2003)[9][10] ในฝรั่งเศสเรียก "หมอบ " (à plat ventre) (ค.ศ. 2004)[11] ในออสตราเลเซีย เรียก "นอนคว่ำอย่างแรง" (extreme lying down) (ค.ศ. 2008) ในสหรัฐอเมริกา และไอร์แลนด์ เรียก "เล่นคว่ำหน้า" (facedowns) (ค.ศ. 2010)[12][13] ส่วนในออสเตรเลีย และนิวซีแลนด์ เรียก "แพลงกิง" (ค.ศ. 2011)[14]
